Autonomous Slug
Here is the latest iteration of the slug. It now has the ability to crawl around on its own thanks to a bit of collision detection.
The question people keep asking me is “Why are you doing this?” and well I keep shrugging. I guess it has just held my attention. There is lots I want to do with this guy. Make it eat, grow, respond to pokes, etc. I guess it’s just a good platform for me to push some areas of interest.

The slug is looking excellent!
“Make it eat, grow, respond to pokes” all sound like fun and I’m waiting to see these added but what should be the highest priority is to have multiple slugs. Detect collision amongst them and get the crazy slug orgy going. And then lil baby slugs can start oozing around.

you should make kind of website that looks like experimental labs and at there, we can see the slug and other bugs plus can cross genetic so sorta like pokemon in more real version.

Man, nice slug!
This guy actually has a place to call home know and rock out on! I cannot believe how far he has come since I first saw your cutout illustration. Nice Job Brett! I will have to agree with Brad, it would be cool to see this little dude dance and grow into some crazy.
